Spend as much time as you want exploring the vast mountainous landscapes and quaint villages. Meet the welcoming locals and sample some Vietnamese delights. The loop is around 300km but you are free to ride where you want. We spent an incredible 3 days driving around on our Yamaha bikes and taking in all the sights. Sadly, the 1st and 2nd days were slightly disappointing with the miserable weather conditions, but we persevered. I wish I did this during my trip to Vietnam, but I didn't have enough time. Everyone I met was saying how amazing it is. It's amazing you did this riding a motorbike for the first time, and a semi-automatic! When I drove a motorbike in the central part of Vietnam it was raining as well — it's not nice to ride completely wet, with rain constantly getting in your eyes.

We miss Vietnam so much! Unfortunately, we didn't manage to do the Ha Giang Loop, but we will do it next time we will be there, it's stunning! The landscape is simply breathtaking!

I was just rewatching my videos from a 3 week trip to Vietnam and thought how much more there was to see. I had no idea you could stay for free if you rented a bike! Too bad I'm too much of a wuss to do something like that. It was great to enjoy vicariously through you. I can't believe how much you managed to see in 3 days. Absolutely amazing smile I love the foggy views the most <3 reminds me of my first morning in Sapa.

So gutted that we missed out on this when in Vietnam, it looks stunning! Leaves motivation to go back! You’re right driving a bike is quite easy to pick up. Scooters is the go to transport in Asia!

It was amazing to watch your guys' determination to explore in even rough weather. I liked how you covered the loop on a motorcycle. I am not a motorcycle enthusiast but after watching your video, I might follow the same path as yours.
