Located in the North East of Vietnam, 150 km from Hanoi, Halong Bay is part of Tonkin Gulf including Halong City and Cam Pha township and part of Van Don island district, Halong Bay borders Cat Ba island to the north west. Halong Bay is composed of more than 2000 large and small limestone islands, mostly in Bai Tu Long Bay and Halong Bay, Halong is famous in the world for it's magnificent beauty with natural caves and grottoes, the Bay is recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage.
